Paver Cleaning - Paver Re-Sanding - Paver Sealing

The most common reason for paver washing is presence of algae and black mold.  Not only does this cause an eye sore, but can cause a health hazard especially for young children when playing.  

Our paver cleaning process utilizes cleaners that kill the bacteria.  This gives the pavers a clean look that lasts longer because it gets to the cause of the problem.  

From the time of installation, pavers require sand between the joints to stabilize the pavers.  We provide our customers with an option of two different types of sand.
 

Standard paver sand will fill the paver joints as needed for proper stabilization.  On its own, this paver sand is vulnerable to wash out but can be locked in with certain paver sealants.  

The most popular option is polymeric paver sand. This sand is swept into paver joints and then activated with water.  This creates a mortar-like compound that hardens and stabilizes the pavers.  This is a much longer lasting option that does not require sealing, but can certainly be used in conjunction with it. 

Paver Sealing plays an integral role in preserving the pavers, maintaining the beauty, and making it easier to clean.

Paver sealing protects them from stubborn stains from food and drinks, leaves and other debris from overhead trees.  Paver sealing also protects from water penetration and expanding during frozen temperatures which can lead to cracked pavers.    

There are select paver sealants that can also enhance their natural beauty.  Some offer a color enhancement which gives a deeper and richer color, as well as a semi-gloss and gloss finish for a stylish wet-look.
